Sunday September 16th 2001. Five cars from the South Wales Region were invited to attend the event. There were hundreds of cars at the event as you can see from the queues to get into the place.

We were parked right next to a dirt road that had turned into a fine powder, and thanks to a helpful wind, settled on all the cars.

Anyway, the cars made a nice display with the jaunty gazebo set up in case of the rain that never came. We needed it to keep the Sun off as it turned out.

A lot of interest was shown, with several potential new members given info. and just a lot of nice chatting with people passing by.

One chap insisted that the MX5 was originally available in kit form(?!). Answers on a postcard.

A great day was had by all. If it weren't for that b***dy dust, it would have been perfect. If I go next year, I want to see the ground plan first.
