The rain did ease off for short periods which allowed at least some of the marvelous views to be appreciated, the short stop at Usk Resevoir was one of these.
The comfort stop at Carreg Cenen Castle proved to be a trial of determination as the heavens opened just as we arrived, at least they serve a decent cup of coffee.
A missed left turn by John on the last section of the run was not a disaster as the "Clydach Four" were on home ground and led from there.
Unfortunately most were disapointed with the Rock and Fountain, but the day ended well with a jolly rendition of Happy Birthday to Sue for her (Fortieth?) birthday when she blew out the candle on her cake.
