Sunday Aug 19th - Going to St Govan's

All aboard

With 21 cars at the start, and a sky that was starting to clear, the day looked promising.
It was only a couple of sets of traffic lights and a roundabouts later that the group became fragmented and I found myself leading the last three cars. But, not to worry, I knew every road on the route to Laugharne and so we efforlessly followed it to the first stop.

Where are they all?

Expecting to be the last we pulled into the car park at Laugharne to find only a handful of cars, we were joined about 10 minutes later by Mike (the LEAD car) and most of the others. After another 10 or 15 minutes the last few lost souls rejoined the fold.

On to the St Govan Inn

St Govan's Inn, Bosherston was once again our lunch stop and although it appears to have undergone a change in management the food was good and plentiful. Not to mention incredibly reasonable.

A quiet walk anyone

After lunch there was the opportunity to visit the cliffs and the chapel, the Lily Pond, or just head off home.
