Barbecue (meeting) at Nash Point

As a change from the usual pub based monthly meetings, Mark decided that we'd meet up at Nash Point for a picnic and barbecue. There was a great turn out of cars and their owners.

It would have been a little better if the car park attendant had allowed us in to the main parking area, but we were told that due to the nocturnal activities of the local "cruisers", the gate would be locked when he left and as that would be before we finished, we were locked on the outside of it.

Munch, munch, munch...Anyway, we all grouped together on the grass above the cliffs where the usual mountain of food appeared.

Mark had brought a portable gas BBQ, plus a couple of disposable ones that Ros tried to use to burn down the common.

I know it's burning, I can see that!! Cooking; that's women's work! OK dear, I'll help, just tell me what to do.

I said "bowl me googlies!!" As a diversion, I had taken along some junior sized cricket kit and using a folding chair as a wicket, we had a game. As usual, Clive was the most active (although I think he suffered for it the following day).

It was a great evening and, there being no business to conduct at all, everybody had a good time.

There were a couple of new faces; hello to you if you're reading this.
